Question #1: Should I file a lawsuit on my insurance agency?
Should I begin to file a lawsuit on my insurance agency? Guy who works on this insurance agency told me over the phone the price quote I have been waiting for almost a week for my car and the price quote was so high that it literally almost gave me a heart attack over the phone, yes I was taken to the hospital so should I file a lawsuit?
Question #2: Is car insurance issued in one province valid in another?
I can't afford insurance in Ontario. The basic rates for males under 25 are the highest in all of north america. I was thinking of changing my legal address to Manitoba to apply for their insurance whilst forwarding all my mail to my actual address.
I can't take public transit, I live and study in the suburbs. I'd also have to bike 20kms each way to work otherwise.
I was quoted between 6000-8000$ /year despite no accidents, tickets and choosing a relatively cheap car to insure.

Question #3: Why do teenagers think car insurance is so expensive?
Someone asked what I thought was a pretty dumb question a few minutes ago about how much insurance would be for a Rolls Royce Phantom.
I thought, "sod it, let's find out" so I looked one up at random on Auto Trader (It's on sale for about £112k at a dealer in Bolton), put the reg number onto Confused.com and waited for what I thought would be a telephone number rather than a quote.
Imagine my surprise when I got this back.....

I live in a city, car parked in a driveway, full NCB and let's just say I'm over 30......
Car insurance expensive? Nah....

Question #4: How do I find out the value of my car?
My car is due for it's Insurance renewal, however rather than going with my current provider I have decided to visit a few price comparison websites first, to see if I can get a cheaper quote. First up I went on confused.com and started filling out all the usual details but then came across the section where they want me to provide a value for my car which has really stumped me.
I know how much I bought the car for and I know that obviously it's value will have greatly depreciated since, but not being affiliated with the motor trade, how can I possibly ascertain it's value?
Are there any reliable and trust-worthy websites I can use to make an evaluation?
It would have been good if confused.com provided a means of calculating my car's value.
I don't really want make an estimate (although) tempted in case I am well off the mark and end up invalidating my insurance.
What a quandary to be in just to meet the obligation of a law-abiding motorist.
If anyone can help me with this matter,
I look forward to hearing from you

Question #5: Do I make enough to move out alone? Is this budget realistic?
I know I make enough to live with a room mate, no problem, but at 23, being out of college, I feel I am past that now. Ive lived at home for a year now after I graduated. I need out, and I want to live alone. What do you think?
